Westmorland County Coroner I. D. Shrieves, of Sackville, is withholding a decision on an inquest into the death Sunday of five-year-old Denise Bourgeois of College Bridge. The girl, daughter of Mr and Mrs. George Bourgeois was killed when struck by a car in front of her home.

An RCMP spokesman in Sackville said the mishap occurred at approxitemately 4:15 p.m. He said the girl was playing on a snowbank in front of her home when she fell into the path of a car driven by Alphée LeBlanc of Memramcook.

Besides her parents, the young girl is survived by her twin sister, Marise; four brothers, Marc, Gilbert, Donald and Ricky, all at home; her maternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Mathias LeBlanc, Memramcook east, and her paternal grandparents Mr and Mrs Patrick Bourgeois, Memracook east.

The funeral service occurred at St Thomas Roman Catholic Church in St. Joseph. Entombment will be in the parish cemetery to await burial in the spring.
